Violin Competition 2027
The Bogotá International Violin Competition is an initiative of the Mayor’s Office of Bogotá, led by the Secretariat of Culture, Recreation and Sport, the Bogotá Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo. It was conceived as a high-level international platform for the promotion and development of young violinists.Following a first edition that brought together participants from 30 countries and established Bogotá as an international stage for classical music, the Competition returns in 2027, further strengthening its artistic, educational, and international mission.

Internationaler Violinwettbewerb Bogotá 2027
Der Internationale Violinwettbewerb Bogotá ist eine Initiative der Stadtverwaltung von Bogotá, getragen vom Kultur-, Freizeit- und Sportsekretariat, dem Philharmonischen Orchester von Bogotá sowie dem Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo. Er wurde als hochrangige internationale Plattform zur Förderung und Entwicklung junger Violinistinnen und Violinisten konzipiert.Nach einer ersten Ausgabe, an der Teilnehmende aus 30 Ländern teilnahmen und die Bogotá als internationale Bühne für klassische Musik etabliert hat, kehrt der Wettbewerb im Jahr 2027 zurück und stärkt dabei weiter seine künstlerische, pädagogische und internationale Ausrichtung.
